Chalotorn Anchaleesahakorn

Chalotorn Anchaleesahakorn was born in 1987 in Bangkok. She has a bachelor degree in archaeology from Silpakorn University, Faculty of Archaeology and a Master degree in Social Sciences and Humanities from Mahidol University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Chalotorn began working as a writer for Fine Art Magazine in 2017. The opportunities to visit and spend time in various communities to conduct research during her studies, combined with her outgoing personality that enjoys meeting and conversing with people of all ages and from all walks of life, make her a great fit with he writing mission and vocation. Among the many books she has co-written are the ‘Silpathorn Award’ (2018-2021) and ‘OCAC’s Art Collection’ (2019).
Chalotorn broadens her career by serving as an assistant to the curator for the exhibition ‘Faith Beyond Earth’ at MOCA, Bangkok in 2018, the exhibition ‘The Revolving World’ at the Thai Pavilion, the 58th Venice Biennale, and currently as a co-curator for the exhibition at the Pimarntip International Pavilion, which is a part of Thailand Biennale Korat, 2021.
She is currently the Project Director of MATDOT Art Center, Bangkok. Her first project here was the ‘Post-Covid’ collective exhibition in 2020, followed by the exhibition ‘The Revolving World’ in 2021.
