An Artistic Voyage Begins – “Trajectory of Traces” Exhibition Opens

The opening of Trajectory of Traces on 28 April 2025 marks the beginning of an exhibition celebrating the joys of travel and the emotional depth of artistic expression. Held at MATDOT Art Center, the exhibition features the work of Chatchai Phojjanaporn—a businessman whose profound passion for art takes centre stage in this deeply personal showcase.

As a self-taught artist who developed his drawing skills independently, Chatchai views art as a vivid expression of his emotions and boundless imagination. His works reveal the layers of feeling woven into his travels—capturing an emotional richness that photography alone could not fully convey.

He approached the opening with meticulous preparation and heartfelt enthusiasm, extending sincere gratitude to Tawatchai Somkong, Founder and Director of MATDOT, for providing a meaningful platform to highlight both his artwork and personal journey. He also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the MATDOT team in bringing the exhibition to life.

The event was a resounding success, buzzing with energy as art enthusiasts, patrons, friends, and family gathered to celebrate. Throughout the exhibition, lively conversations sparkled as Chatchai passionately shared his reflections on travel and his path as a self-taught artist. The atmosphere was electric—filled with moments of inspiration as attendees exchanged thoughts on the joys of exploration. Once again, MATDOT transformed into a vibrant haven for all lovers of creativity.
