On 21 July 2025, art lovers gathered to celebrate the opening of two exhibitions, In Another Space and Tree of Life, at a lively evening hosted in Bangkok.

In Another Space marks the long-awaited joint debut in Thailand by renowned Pakistani artists Sadaf Naeem and R.M. Naeem. Their first artistic collaboration in over twenty years, the exhibition explores themes of memory, displacement, and personal truth through new paintings developed during their MATDOT Art Residency Programme.

Alongside, celebrated Thai sculptor Peerapong Doungkaew presents Tree of Life, a solo exhibition showcasing highlights from his Biodiversity series. The intricate wood-carved sculptures reflect Peerapong’s deep engagement with environmental issues, from deforestation to pollution, drawing on both science and art to advocate for ecological harmony.

The event welcomed artists, collectors, educators, and enthusiasts, all coming together to honour the artists’ powerful work. MATDOT expressed gratitude for the warm participation.
