On 10 March 2025, art enthusiasts gathered for the opening of two compelling solo exhibitions: Life War by Nung Kittisak and Nude by Thepsakdi Thongnopkoon. The event offered visitors an intimate look at works that delve into themes of impermanence, identity, and human experience.
Life War featured hundreds of delicate terra cotta sculptures of human and animal forms, symbolising life’s fragility and unpredictability. The sculptures’ organic hues, shaped by fire, evoke the raw intensity of human desire.
In Nude, Thepsakdi presented his latest series of nude paintings, continuing his decades-long exploration of “Contemporary Thai Nude Art”—a fusion of the human form with Thai cultural elements.
Guests, including artists and art lecturers, enjoyed refreshments while engaging in discussions with the creators. The evening was a celebration of artistic expression, offering deeper insights into the visions behind the thought-provoking works.
