Gianluca Vernizzi

Gianluca Vernizzi is a distinguished Italian artist and entrepreneur renowned for his pioneering work in color technology, design, and art through Fractalis special effect paints brand. Educated in the UK and USA, including MIT’s Birthing of Giants executive master program, Mr. Vernizzi has cultivated a sophisticated conceptual language by engaging with diverse cultures worldwide. Since 2015 he lives and works between Bologna (Italy) and Bangkok (Thailand) where he leads Inter Nos Co. Ltd., a cerebration design lab focusing on creating sustainable spatial technologies and socially responsible business models.

As an artist, Mr. Vernizzi began painting in his pre-teen years and later established Createlab, a laboratory dedicated to studying biomimicry and exploring new smart physical chemistry frontiers. His art delves into impermanence and anthropological change using proprietary nano materials. Notable exhibitions include his solo show “Eggclectics” in Bangkok and participation in the Thailand Biennale Korat 2021. His projects have been featured in prominent publications such as Wallpaper, Revolution, Fine Art Magazine and ART/F FASC/COLO highlighting his significant impact and influence on contemporary art and color technology.

During his upcoming residency at MATDOT Art Center for his “INTRAVERS8” series—The Theatre of Patterns—Mr. Vernizzi will work on eight diptychs exploring human consciousness patterns through immersive aesthetics that resonate with body, mind, and soul. With “INTRAVERS8”, Mr. Vernizzi visual philosophy continues to bridge the gap between art and science, making substantial humanistic contributions to both fields.
