Artist Statement

My practice revolves around the transformative power of repetitive gestures and patterns, taking inspiration from the intricate knots found in nature and domestic spaces. I am drawn to spaces, particularly those associated with women, to explore themes of agency and interconnectedness. Through the repetition of motifs and the exploration of women’s silhouettes, I seek to unveil the interplay between the physical and metaphysical dimensions while capturing the essence of my surroundings.

By melding experience, concept, and material, I weave a story that executes both craft and fine art traditions.
