Pillars of Creation

Pillars of Creation presents a series of sixteen paintings that explore the invisible structures believed to sustain the unfolding of life and consciousness. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of the mystic and seer Almine, which describe sixteen foundational principles of creation, the exhibition translates these primordial forces into a contemporary visual language.
Across many spiritual traditions and architectural forms, pillars have symbolized stability, balance, and the unseen frameworks that support existence. From classical temples of antiquity to ceremonial structures in indigenous cultures, pillars have served as symbolic markers of the forces that uphold the space within which life unfolds. In this exhibition, the pillar becomes both metaphor and visual presence — representing the structural principles that sustain creation itself.
The sixteen paintings form a unified body of work in which each piece represents one of these foundational principles. Installed together, the works create a symbolic architecture of creation, inviting viewers to move through the exhibition as though entering a field of emerging forces and interconnected energies.
Working with alcohol ink, Sandra Saradesi allows the medium’s fluidity and organic movement to mirror the generative dynamics of creation. Pigment flows across the surface in layered currents, forming structures that appear to arise spontaneously from movement and interaction. Through this process, the paintings evoke the moment when form emerges from fluidity — echoing the creative processes that shape both the natural world and the cosmos.
Rather than depicting mythology or literal architectural forms, the works suggest the presence of invisible frameworks that underlie existence. Colour, movement, and layered transparency create a sense of depth and fluid resonance, inviting viewers into a contemplative encounter with the forces that sustain life.
Together, the sixteen works form a visual constellation — a symbolic architecture that encourages reflection on the principles that shape both the universe and human consciousness. The exhibition offers a space for viewers to consider how these layers of foundation may also exist within the inner architecture of human awareness and collective evolution.

Sandra Saradesi is a contemporary artist whose work explores themes of consciousness, spirituality, and life’s mysteries. A Canadian artist born in Nicaragua and currently based in Vienna, Austria, she brings a richly international perspective to her artistic vision. Having lived across North America, Europe, and Asia—including Mexico, Miami, Canada, Corfu, Bali, and Dubai—her work reflects a global outlook shaped by her spiritual journey as both teacher and student for nearly two decades. Her work bridges art and spirituality, inviting viewers into contemplation.
