On 24 May 2026, MATDOT Art Center was honoured to welcome Dominique Petit-Frère, Founder of Limbo Museum and Curator of Design Space AlUla and AlUla Design Residency, UAE, together with Emil Grip, Co-Founder of Limbo Museum and Limbo Accra, for a visit to the space.

The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by acclaimed architect Boonserm Premthada and Paula Premthada, who guided them through the space and introduced the architectural vision behind the centre. The visit became an occasion for thoughtful dialogue on the evolving relationship between art, architecture, and cultural practice across different regions and communities. Joining the conversation was artist Tawatchai Somkong, whose exchange with the visitors explored the role of contemporary art spaces in fostering critical engagement, cultural memory, and new forms of collaboration. 

The gathering reflected a meaningful intersection of international perspectives, highlighting the growing connections between creative practitioners and institutions across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa through shared interests in contemporary culture and socially engaged practice.
