On 4 May 2026, MATDOT Art Center hosted the opening reception for two exhibitions, Linear Text of Delirious Time 2 and Pillars of Creation, welcoming a diverse gathering of artists, lecturers, collectors, and art enthusiasts for an evening dedicated to contemporary artistic expression.

The exhibition Linear Text of Delirious Time 2 by Nisar Hossain presents a compelling series of paintings examining the instability of the contemporary world. Through frenetic acrylic lines set against deep black canvases, the artist constructs an intense visual language that reflects turbulence, confusion, and a growing sense of collective delirium. The works unfold as vivid yet unsettling spectacles, where flashes of colour emerge from darkness like fragments of a fractured reality.

In contrast, Canadian artist Sandra Saradesi offers a contemplative exploration of consciousness and creation in Pillars of Creation. The sixteen paintings draw inspiration from the teachings of the mystic and seer Almine, translating foundational principles of existence into a contemporary visual form that meditates on unseen spiritual structures.

The evening was attended by Liam Kirkpatrick, who delivered opening remarks on behalf of the Embassy of Canada to Thailand. Both exhibiting artists also shared reflections on their artistic journeys and discussed the conceptual foundations behind their new bodies of work.
