On 31 March 2026, MATDOT Art Center was delighted to welcome Fahad Al Obaidly (Director of Doha Design Biennale) Justin Gilanyi (Curator of Riyard) Katya Kamzolova (Head of Business Development, Programmes & Partnerships, Exhibitions at Qatar Museums) as well as Boonserm Premthada (Architect) and his wife Paula Premthada on the occasion of their visit to MATDOT Art Center.

This visit offered a wonderful opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and exchange perspectives on art and culture, while touring the studio of Tawatchai Somkong, founder of MATDOT Art Center. The guests also visited the studios of the two artists-in-residence, Adisak Somkong and Stephen Eastaugh, where they experienced the artists’ works and creative processes firsthand.

The meeting was filled with warm hospitality and inspiring exchanges, marking the beginning of a meaningful relationship and opening up exciting possibilities for future collaboration.
