On 17 September 2024, MATDOT Art Center opened its space for the study of contemporary art to foster understanding, inspire creativity, and spark innovation in high school students and their teachers from Verso International School.

This activity was part of an off-site field trip to contemporary art galleries in the Ratchadamnoen area. The students had the opportunity to view the exhibitions “132nd Silpa Bhirasri: Commemorative Collection” and “FROM 8 TO INFINITY,” currently on display at Matdot Gallery and Blacklist Gallery, respectively, with a guided tour led by the exhibition curator, Sarana Wiriyaprasit.

In addition, the students also visited Peter Holden‘s studio and learned about the conservation of old paintings in MATDOT’s conservation lab.
