On 13 and 14 December 2025, a rare and intimate musical encounter unfolded at MATDOT Art Center as Pathomporn Pathomporn—widely known as Pry—presented Inception, a two-day mini-concert that marked a significant moment in his evolving artistic journey.

Held in the Black Hall, the two-hour afternoon performances took place in a space meticulously transformed into an immersive concert venue. The carefully considered setting heightened the emotional register of Pry’s music, allowing sound, light, and presence to merge into a concentrated experience of listening and reflection.

Inception signals a new chapter in Pry’s long-standing practice, which has consistently interwoven music, performance, and existential inquiry. Conceived as a multidisciplinary constellation, the project brought together musicians, visual artists, and performers in a series of encounters shaped by intimacy, longing, and introspection—recurring forces within his lyrics and writings.

The first day, on 13 December, focused solely on music. Pry and his band performed a selection of notable works spanning different periods of his career, offering audiences a rare opportunity to revisit songs that have shaped his artistic identity. 

On 14 December, the concert expanded into a performative framework curated by Tawatchai Somkong, founder and director of MATDOT Art Center. This special programme incorporated art performances by Vasan Sitthiket, Sakarin Krue-On, Kawin Boonthara, Oranut Subrungrueng, and Note Sutthasinee, alongside guest musicians Methee Noichinda and Taratawan Krue-On.

The event drew devoted fans eager to experience this uncommon live appearance, creating an atmosphere charged with collective memory and shared anticipation. Complementing the concerts, an accompanying exhibition at MATDOT Café presented Pry’s new acrylic paintings—semi-abstract works reflecting personal experience and the deeper contours of his artistic practice.
